Hudson Kiger, a very highly respected citizen died at his home in Whiteley township, Wednesday evening, Oct. 4, of inflammation of the bowels and stomach. His illness had lasted only about two weeks. He was aged 58 years and 10 months and was born and always lived on the farm where he died. He had been united in marriage to Eliza, daughter of Robert Zimmerman. His wife and ten children survive him. He was an upright christian man, well-liked by all his neighbors and acquaintances and died in the peace of his Savior.
