Clara Kiger Hoy, 61, widow of William A. Hoy, of Spraggs, R. D., died at 3:40 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 3, 1947, after a brief illness.

She was born April 1, 1886, near Kirby, a daughter of the late Hudson and Eliza Zimmerman Kiger, and spent all her life in south east Greene County.

Surviving are two children, Miss Fern Hoy and Hamilton Hoy, both of Spraggs, R.D., and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Kelsey (Ida) Connor, Mt. Morris; Mrs. Francis (Louie) Fox and Mrs. Elza (Clemmie) Maple, both of Spraggs; Mrs. Thomas (Pearl) Cole, Waynesburg, and Lonnie Kiger, Washington, R. D.

She was a member of the Spraggs Methodist Church.
