AD3 US NAVY - WORLD WAR II
PITTSFIELD and CORINNA - Everett R. Dearborn, 82, beloved husband of Marjorie L. (Parker) Dearborn, died Oct. 23, 2009, after a long illness. He was born Oct. 18, 1927, in Corinna, the son of Erwin and Christina (Welch) Dearborn.
Throughout most of his life, Everett was a dairy farmer and was well known for his black Percheron horses and his wagon trips.
Everett was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Newport, as well as Corinna American Legion and Parian Lodge AF & AM.
Everett was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during World War II.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife are three children: a daughter, Carol Smith of Corinth; and two sons, Harold of Virginia and Dan of Corinna; stepdaughter, Diana Menard of Hartland; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Althea Emery of Bangor, Marguerite Ricker of Colorado and Alice Kneeland of Pittsfield. Everett was predeceased by his first wife, Jeanette; and his sister, Roberta Ricker.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Calvary Baptist Church, Newport, with the Rev. George Finnermore and Pastor Ricky Parker officiating.
Burial will be at Morses Corner Cemetery, Corinna. (Bangor Daily News 10/24/2009)
