On January 26, 1958 Bertha and Milton celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary at their home in Plainview with their seven children present. They enjoyed many visitors including out-of-town guests.
Bertha was a homemaker and a member of the College Heights Baptist Church.
Final rites for Mrs. Bertha Stella Collins, age 80, a resident of Plainview since 1931 will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in College Heights Baptist Church
Bertha is laid to rest beside her lifelong companion, Milton C Collins in the Plainview Memorial Park.
