L.D. Richardson, 79, died December 27 at his home in Paradise. Tex Monk and Ray Cook Jr. conducted services at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel December 29. Burial was in Paradise Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe Wayne Richardson, Mike Richardson, Jack D. Richardson II, Matt Jenkins, Darrell Tate and Clark Montgomery. Honorary pallbearers were Stetson Oates, Willie McCann, Colter Doty, and Britt Doty. Mr. Richardson, a lifetime resident of Paradise, was born in Wise County Feburary 3, 1916. He married Renez Banks, who survives, on May 11, 1935, Decatur. He retired as superintendent from Thomas S. Byrne, Inc., and was a member and elder at the Carpenter Street Church of Christ in Bridgeport. Survivors include son Joe Richardson and his wife Ann, of Paradise, and Jack D. Richardson and his wife Johnnie of Perrin; daughter Sue Laurent and here husband Jerry, of Arlington, and Jan Stanfield and her husband Robert, of Bridgeport; 12 grandchidlren, 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
