Pauline was the eldest child and daughter of Roy Preston and Clara Mable (Carney) McKim. She married Herbert Oscar Robertson on Jan. 19, 1939 in Grand Rapids, MN. To this union three children were born; Eveline Frances (d. at birth), Herbert Oscar, and Franklin Preston. She married Max George Robertson on May 7, 1955, in Portland, OR.
