Diane graduated from Grand Rapids High in 1964. Within four years she moved to California where she met and married her husband Leonard "George" Snibley on October 11, 1968. He was the son of Leonard Erwin Snibley and Lorraine Northcott Snibley. Her parents were Roy Preston McKim and Clara Mabelle Carnegy McKim. Diane was the youngest of eleven children; Pauline, Bill, Jack, Edward, Leonard, Frankie, Alfred, Pearl, Ruth, and Donna. George and Diane had three children, Kimberley Renee, Leonard Robert, and Jason Owen. Six grandchildren, Tyler Bryan, Dylan Travis, Olivia Sydney, Conor Baker, Lilly Jay, and Owen. Two great grandchildren Dyani Sophia, and Daniella Maria. The couple made their home for over thirty years in Calabasas, California. Diane began her career as a keypunch operator and computer programmer, retiring from Jaffra Cosmetics. George and Diane sold their home in 2003 and took to the road full time in their RV and traveled all over the United States before settling in Ventura, California and finally in Tehachapi, California with their daughter and granddaughter. Diane loved gardening and could be found in her garden or her daughter's garden on most afternoons. She loved to travel, shop, decorate for the holidays, and spend time with her grandkids. Diane and her daughter were the family genealogists and knocked down many brick walls to uncover their family history and roots. In 2013 Diane was diagnosed with ALS. She bravely battled the diesease and passed away in her sleep at her daughter's home in Tehachapi.
