Sycamore – Rose M. Bauer, 93, of Sycamore, died Monday, Jan., 17, 1983, at Sycamore Municipal Hospital. She was born May 18, 1889 in Sheboygan, WI, daughter of Alois and Susann (Rhusart) (Sic) Friehammer. She married Chris Bauer on 29 Oct 1913 in St. Florian, AL. She was a Gold Star mother.
She is survived by three daughters, Margery Minor of Indian Lakes Estates, FL, Betty Roselieb of Toledo, OH, and Georgianne Peterson of Mountain Home, AR.; two sons, Cyril of Golden, MO., and Denis Bauer of Sycamore; 28 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; two sisters, Johannah Massarek of Detroit, Mich., and Carolyn Shay of Milwaukee, WI.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three sons Lee, Robert and Raymond, three brothers and two sisters. Burial will be in Mr. Carmel Cemetery in Sycamore.
