Don Allen Penrod, age 84 of Payson, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 1995.
Born April 20, 1911 in Liberty, Utah, a son of Oliver Allen and Mary E. Knighton Penrod.
He married Doris Ellen Bauer, October 6, 1939 in Provo, Utah.
They were sealed in the Provo LDS Temple.
She died November 26, 1963.
He married Wanda Rolfe Carter, March 26, 1965 in Elko, Nevada.
Their marriage was solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda, of Payson; three daughters and a son and their spouses: Judy and James Cooper, Murray; Nancy and Ken Queen, Peoria, Arizona; Jill and Carl McClellan, Payson; Dana and Debbie Penrod, Reno, Nevada.
Three step-sons and a step-daughter: Craig R. and LaRay Carter, and Corey and Lynn Carter, all of Provo; Janice Hope, Clover; Collin and Udora Carter, Beaver.
13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, seven step -grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters: Lloyd Penrod, and Melba Jensen, both of Goshen; Vern Penrod, California; and Mary Petersen, of Provo.
Those who preceded him in death include: two brothers and two sisters: Earl and William Penrod; LaVon Keith and Lois Tuttle.
Services will be Thursday, September 21, 1995, 11:00 am., in the Payson First LDS Ward Chapel, 225 South 400 East, Payson.
Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West, Payson, Wednesday, 6 -8:00 p.m. or at the church Thursday, 10-10:45 a.m.
Burial will be in the Goshen Cemetery.
