Mrs. Mary Ahlstrom, 83, wife of the late Capt. Charles Ahlstrom, died at 7 a.m. today at her home, 277 Liberty.

Born in Green Bay, Wis., Jan, 30, 1860, a daughter of the late Hans and Mary Jacobson, she had resided here since 1902. Capt. Ahlstrom, who had been a skipper for the Jenkins Steamship Co. on the lakes, preceded his wife in death in November 1916.

An active member of St. James' Episcopal Church here, she also was a member of Urania Chapter No. 284, Order of Eastern Star, and of Adams Rebekah lodge.

Three children preceded Mrs. Ahlstrom in death.
