COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY - 09/09/2008
STAPLES - Anna Bernice (Hardesty), 76, of Louisville, passed away on September 7, 2008 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. "Jake" Staples. She is survived by her sons, Tommy (Norma), Gene (Townya) and Pat Staples (Kathy); daughters, Charlotte Kaleher (Art) and Paula Huddleston (Alan); brothers, James and Joseph Hardesty; sisters, Mary Hobbs and Irma Rhodes; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one on the way. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 1925 Lewiston Drive, with burial in Mount Marino Cemetery in Irvington, KY. Visitation will be noon-8 p.m. Tuesday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons-Southwest, 4832 Cane Run Road. Memorial gifts may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
