Alfred Dammann, 84, Dies January 8th -

Alfred Dammann was born on April 1, 1881 in Merrick County near Worms, a son of Claus and Minna Dammann. 

He was a member of the Lutheran Church and received his education in the Lutheran Parochial School at Worms.

He was married to Katherine Hinrichs on May 9, 1906 at Worms. 

The couple spent their entire lifetime in the Worms community and observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1956. 

Mrs. Dammann died in 1960.

Survivors include one son, Arnold, St. Libory; three daughters, Mrs. Hildegard Brase, Ceylon, Minn., Mrs. Agatha Luebbe, St. Libory and Mrs. Irene Bahensky, Palmer; three sisters, Mrs. Mida Simonson, Palmer, Mrs. Minnie Ferguson, McAllen, Tex., and Mrs. Hertha Teng, St. Libory; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
