Three Killed In Auto Accident Friday --

One of the most tragic and gruesome accidents which it has ever been our duty to chronicle occurred three miles north of Grand Island Friday, January 14, when Albert Dammann and his wife and Mrs. Dammann's father, Nicholas Edward Loibl, were killed by the U. P. motor which runs from Grand Island to Ord.

The unfortunate people had driven to Grand Island to do some trading, leaving their two children with the grandmother. The motor was evidently under great speed as the bodies were carried for nearly sixty rods. The crossing is a dangerous one, and this is the second fatal accident which has occurred there.

Mr. Dammann was a brother of Mrs. Lafe Simonson of this town. The bereaved relatives have the sincere sympathy of a host of friends.

In Memoriam -
Albert Dammann was born in Merrick county, Nebraska, February 15, 1894.

On April 12, 1917 he was united in marriage to Bertha Simonson. To this union was born one son. Mrs. Dammann died December 31, 1918.

On September 12, 1919 Mr. Dammann was married to Miss Alice Loibl. To this union was born one daughter.

He leaves to mourn his tragic death one son, one daughter, his aged father, one brother and six sisters.
