Joe Stafford Farque, 57, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2010 in his residence.
Mr. Farque was a resident of Westlake but was raised in Moss Bluff. He worked for Turner Industries at CITGO for 23 years. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Rita Artigue Farque; children, Michelle Lynn Pickle and husband, Karl, Kayla Renee' Chastain and husband William, Jared Wade Farque and fiance' Nadia Foreman; grandchildren, Bryce Phillip, Karlie Pickle, Zachary and Lelia Chastain and Joseph Farque; siblings, James, Ricky, Allan, David Farque, Brenda Foy, Barbra Manuel, Charlotte Foy, Mable Dehart, and Gloria Young. He was preceded in death by his father, James Farque Sr.; mother, Rose Fruge; son, Joseph Warren Farque; brother, Charles Farque and sister, Kathy Johnson.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Deacon Dan Caraway will officiate. Burial will be in the old Ritchie Cemetery.
