The second death in three days occurred in the Hartford Stephens home in Whiteley Township Sunday noon, February 7, 1937, when Mr. Stephens died of pneumonia. His brother-in-law, Ross Shultz, died Friday morning.
Mr. Stephens was 64 years, seven months and 16 days old, and was born in the same house in which he died. His parents were Rowen H. and Adeline Stephens, deceased. He never married and is survived by the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Margaret Shultz, Hopewell, Ohio; Mrs. Josie Lemley, Mt. Morris; Mrs. Grace Shultz, Waynesburg, and F. Ellsworth Stephens, Waynesburg. He was a member of the Kirby M. E. Church.
