Dora E. Shepperd

GLEN ROCK – Dora E. (Miller) Gray Shepperd, 85, of Holly Lane, died Friday morning, May 27, 1983, at her home. She was the wife of Paul W. Shepperd Sr. and the widow of Harry J. Gray.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., with burial in Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery. There will be no viewing tonight. There will be a viewing Sunday from 1 p.m. until the service at the funeral home.
Born in Codorus Township, Mrs. Shepperd was the daughter of the late Pius and Rosie (Miller) Miller.
A life-long resident of the Glen Rock area, she was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, York County Chapter No. 24 of the American Association of Retired Persons and also of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Austin L. Grove American Legion Post 403. She retired in 1965 from AMP Inc.
Mrs. Shepperd also is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Her pastor, the Rev. David A. Brown, will conduct the service, assisted by the Rev. Winfield Engler, former pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ.
