Ellen Westfall, age 81, of Gulfport, died Tuesday, February 9, 2010, in Biloxi.

Mrs. Westfall was preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius Kane and Gertrude Donavon Kane; husband, Charles Westfall, and two brothers.

Survivors include children, Kathy Phillips (James), of Picayune; Anne Hanna (David), of Knoxville, TN; sisters, Colleen Potter (Don) of Michigan; and Eleanor Patterson, of Texas; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Westfall was a native of Wyandotte, MI, and a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She was a 1946 graduate of Long Beach High School, was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Gulfport, and a lifelong member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2010, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 12, 2010, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Gulfport, where family and friends may visit after 9:00 a.m. Entombment will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Gulfport.
