Wilson Shaffer of Madisonville, passed away at 9:50 a.m., Thursday, March 8, at Sweetwater Hospital. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He was 82.
Preceded in death by: parents, Garnett and Altie Shaffer; sisters, Irene Wilson, Dora Mae Schomillinger, Mildred Word and Mary Shaffer. Brothers-Ivan, Allen Lee, John, James, Walter and Lloyd Shaffer and Grady Whitmore.
Survivors include: brother-Vernal Shaffer of Madisonville;
Aunt-Sarah Schaffer; Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were 8 p.m., Friday, in Biereley-Hale Chapel, with the Rev. David Watson officiating. Interment was 11 a.m., Saturday, in St. Paul Cemetery. Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, in charge of arrangements.
