Reba Chastain Mann, 87, of 200 Elrod Road, formerly of Duncan Chapel Road, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2001, at Palmetto Baptist Medical Center.

Born in Franklin County, Ga., she was the widow of Ernest Merrell Mann, and daughter of the late Balus S. and Ada Bray Chastain.

Mrs. Mann retired from Carolina Blouse Company and was a member of Holmes Memorial Church. She enjoyed fellowship with Judson Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Gwen M. Loggins and husband, Thad, of Winston-Salem, N.C.; sons, Billy F. Mann and wife, Dot, of Liberty, Johnny M. Mann and wife, Patricia, of Piedmont, and Frank Z. Mann and wife, Carolyn, of Royston, Ga.; a sister, Hannah Brosche; brothers, Frank James Chastain of Anderson and F. Taylor Chastain of Peach Tree City, Ga.; three grandchildren reared in the home, Billy Mann, Russell Mann, and Pam Gaines; 10 other grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Theresa Mann.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with the funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Mann's body will be placed in Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church, Royston, Ga., at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. A graveside service will follow in the church cemetery at 3 p.m.

Mrs. Mann's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
