Taylor Chastain, 82, Peachtree City, Georgia, died April 19, 2003. He was the son of Balus Stevenson and Mary Ada Bryson Chastain. He was a Veteran of World War II, and a graduate of the University of Georgia. His professional life was in the tire business. In retirement, he enjoyed watching sports, playing golf and traveling.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Nichols Chastain, and a son, Steve Taylor. Survivors include a son, David (Peggy) Chastain; daughters, Deborah (David) Johnson, and Sandra (Lee) Muse; grandchildren, Julie Johnson, Brent Johnson, Jenna Johnson, Julie Muse, and Jeff Muse; a brother, Frank Chastain; and a sister, Hannah Brosche.

Services held at the Pines at Floral Hills Memory Gardens Chapel with Rev. Raymond Carr officiating. Interment with military honors. Lowndes & McLane Funeral Home, Tucker, was in charge.
