Sarah was the daughter of Isaac & Mary Workman. They settled in Sefton Twp Fayette Co., Illinois.She married Josua Arnold on April 27,1851. He died December 7,1914. They were parents of 12 children, 6 sons & 6 daughters. 4 preceded her in death.The survivors were; Henriette Bowman, Salena Flowers, H.E. Arnold, Joseph D Arnold, J.w.Arnold, Martha Cox, Minnie F., Dr. B.F.Arnold. She was the last Workman descendant, being the last of 12 children. She was buried beside her husband.
