Lloyd Summers, Christiana, Dies
Lloyd G. Summers, Sr., 65, of Gay St., Christiana, died Sunday at 10 p.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital after a brief illness.
He was employed by the J.L. Clark Mfg. Co. before his retirement in 1969.
Born in Sadsbury Twp., Lancaster, a son of the late Harry M. and Catherine Maser Summers, he was a member of the Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church, the Christiana Fire Co., and the Lancaster County Fire Police Association.
Surviving are his wife, Hazel Trout Summers, two children, Lloyd G. Summers, Jr., Lancaster, and Janet, wife of Sherman Forrester, Atglen; four grandchildren, and these brothers and sisters: Nelson, New Holland R1; Samuel, Edna, wife of Marlin Trout, both of Paradise R1; Catherine, wife of Wilson Hall, Christiana R1; Florence, wife of Alvin Harkins, Philadelphia; Paul, Paradise R1; Roy, Lancaster, and Jacob, Paradise R1.
