Mrs. Mittie Snyder Rushing, 85, of 615 26th Avenue, Northport, died at a local nursing home last night.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Strickland-Hayes Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Williamson Cemetery in Northport. The Rev. Elton Beasley will officiate.
Mrs. Rushing is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Josephine Rushing Smith of Northport and Mrs. Betty Rushing Chitman of Manchester, Georgia; two sons, John Emil Rushing of Northport and Joe Raiford Rushing of Cottondale; and five grandchildren.
Acative pallbearers will be J.D. Quarles, A.W. Stephens, O.K. Neal, Henry R. Lindsey, J.W. Hardin, Owen Rice, Franklin Earnest and W.O. Pinion.
