Herbert W. "Lighting" Lister, 70, of 1206 Minnesota St., died at 11:05 a.m. Monday in North Plains Hospital.

Services are pending with Alexander Funeral Directors.

Mr. Lister moved to Borger in 1936 from Leedy, Okla. He was a crane operator for Panhandle Crane for 15 years. He was a Baptist.

He married Nora Dixon in 1933 in Cheyenne, Okla.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Nadine Williams of Duncan, Okla., Juanita Jackson of Spring, Geanette Eason of Borger and Cindy Bryan of Fritch; a brother, Winfred Lister of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a sister, Doshia Allen of Coalgate; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services for Herbert W. "Lighting" Lister, 70, of 1206 Minnesota, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Gateway Baptist Church with the Rev. Roy Henderson, pastor, and V.O. Smith, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Alexander Funeral Directors.

Mr. Lister died at 11:05 a.m. Monday in North Plains Hospital.

A native of Shawnee, Okla., he moved to Borger in 1936 for Leedy, Okla. He was a crane operator for Panhandle Crane for 15 years. He was a Baptist.

He married Nora Dixon in 1933 in Cheyenne, Okla.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Nadine Williams of Duncan, Okla., Juanita Jackson of Spring, Jeanette Eason of Borger and Cindy Bryan of Fritch; a brother, Winfred Lister of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a sister, Doshia Allen of Coalgate, Okla., nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
