Clarice Eleanor Cline
Clarice Eleanor Cline, 92, of Charleston died Sept. 10, 1998, in General Division, CAMC, after a long illness.
She was a retired schoolteacher with 40 years' service in Mingo, Mercer and Raleigh counties and a former member of Flat Top Primitive Baptist Church. She received a master's degree in education from Concord College.
Surviving: sons, Damon Cline of Charleston, Danny Cline of Sutton, Dwayne Cline of Elkton, Md.; sisters, Ann Chappell of Bluefield, Lilly Cole of Flat Top; brother, Luther Okes of Flat Top; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Flat Top Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Lewis Lester officiating. Burial will be in the Okes family cemetery, Flat Top. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at J.E. Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, and two hours prior to service at the church.
