Former Resident of this City dies at Home in Mishawaka.
Mrs. Alice Reed, 78, of Mishawaka, former well-known Warsawan, expired Thursday afternoon at her home in Mishawaka. Death was due to complications of old age, following an illness of the past month.
Mrs. Reed, the widow of the late Uri Reed, resided in this city about 10 years ago, where her husband was employed as a teamster. Mr. Reed preceded her in death four years ago.
Surviving relatives are three daughters, Mrs. Roy Lloyd of Warsaw, Mrs. F. G. Clark of Mishawaka, and Mrs. Ray Hershberger of Dunlap; two sons, Walter Reed of Pasadena, Cal. and William W. Reed of Mishawaka; 10 grandchildren, one great grandchild and one sister, Mrs. Mary Webb of Warsaw.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Christian Church in Warsaw. Burial will be made in Oakwood Cemetery.
