Charles Ottaway
Charles Ottaway, aged 80, of Cooperstown, RD 1, died at his home on Sunday, June 10, following a long illness.
He was born November 26, 1881, in the Town of Middlefield, the son of Moses and Mariettta (Bowers) Ottaway. He was a farmer.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cooperstown.
Surviving are a sister-in-law, Mrs. Beulah Ottaway of Cooperstown, Rd 1; one nephew, Harris Ottaway of Schenectady; several nieces , newphes and cousins.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, June 13, from the Ingalls Funeral Home in Cooperstown, with the Rev. merlin W. Bradley, pastor of the Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in Lakewood Cemetery in Cooperstown.
