JACK JOHNSON BURIED AT CHELSEA
REMAINS OF COUNTY BOY ARRIVED FROM CAMP CODY FRIDAY
Was Accompanied by Two Brothers Also in Service—Funeral from Chelsea Opera House Sunday Morning Largely Attended
The remains of Jack Johnson, who died at Camp Cody, arrived here Friday. Two brothers, Bert and Ora Johnson, who are also in training at Camp Cody, accompanied the body. Jack was a young man, well-liked by all in Chelsea and vicinity, where he has spent his life. Funeral services were held at the opera house Sunday at 10 a. m. conducted by Rev. J. W Bearse. Pallbearers were Emil Stanek, Ray Stolelmyre, Louis Balvin, Orange Boyer, August Bazyn and Will Behounek. Flower girls were Misses Christina Posekany. Lillian Wessel, Emma Vavroch, Mildred Blazek, Mary Balvin and Gladys Vanatt.
