She was born August 4, 1912 in the town of Hutchins, the daughter of the late Wilbert and Gena (Pollock) Clauss.
On April 8, 1930 Marion was united in marriage to Henry Wickman in the town of Almon. He survives.
In addition to her husband, survivors include one son, Robert, Birnamwood; one daughter, Dorothy (Raymond) Wickkiser, Birnamwood; one brother, Russell Clauss, Bowler; four sisters, Lillian (Herbert) Wickman, Birnamwood, Margaret (Earl) Vaughn, Hatley, Doris (Charles) Allen, Neenah and Joyce (Royal) Kielman, Bowler; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Marion was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two children.
Funeral services were held September 13, 1978 at St. John Lutheran Church, Mattoon. The Rev. John Ehlke officiated. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Mattoon.
