Mrs. Bettie F. Harnsbarger, 97, 1500 W. Main St., city, died at 8:30 a.m. today at the Mountain View Nursing Home where she had been a patient for four months.
Born July 11, 1861, in Swoope, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Samuel and Anna Myers Driver. She was the widow of John Whitmore Harnsbarger. Mrs. Harnsbarger was a lifelong member of the Barren Ridge Church of the Brethren.
Survivors include one brother, Homer Driver; one sister, Miss Lottie Driver, both of Route 3, Staunton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Body will remain at the Etter Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements will be announced.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m Monday in the Chapel of the Etter Funeral Home for Mrs. Bettie Harnsbarger, 97, 1500 W. Main St., city, who died at 8:30 a.m. yesterday at the Mountain View Nursing Home where she had been a patient for four months.
Service will be conducted by the Rev. Guy Stump with interment in the Barren Ridge Church of the Brethren cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be W. M. Mason, Victor A. Phillips, George Coiner, Earl Brower, Bell Harris and Millard Harvey.
Honorary bearers will be Harry Leonard, Raymond Gaw, G. H. Branaman, E. W. Barger, J. E. Wine, J. M. Early, R. L. Hiserman Sr., Delmer Agee, Dr. B. K. Weems and Charles Forrer.
