Ruth Ellen Van Helden, age 74, of 2718 Wayland Court, died Thursday, March 27, 1997, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Ruth was a charter member of St. Olaf Catholic Church and Altar Society.
She is survived by her husband Henry; children Nance (Randy) Gruhlke of Eau Claire, Kathy (Steve) Schmit of Bemidji, MN, Mark (Audree) of Eau Claire, and Faith (Bryon) Bogstad of Elk Mound; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandson; two brothers; and six sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March, 31, 1997, at St. Olaf Catholic Church, with Father Frank Corradi officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m Sunday at Prock-Beede Funeral Home, where there will be a 7 p.m. vigil, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
