Carl H. Meyer
Carl H. Meyer, 89, of Lincoln passed away Monday morning, July 30, at the Lincoln County Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born Jan. 18, 1890 at Jonesville, Ind., he had been a resident of Lincoln County since 1906 where he farmed. His wife Martha passed away in 1953. He was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church south of Lincoln.
Survivors include two sons, Eldon of Lincoln, and Raymond of Winfield, Ks.; three daughters, Doris Brodin, Florence Winter and Gladys Reinert, all of Wichita; three brothers, Louis of Lincoln, Ed of Sidney, Neb., and Emil of Columbus, Ind.; 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 2, 10 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
