CLYDE WARNER DIES SUNDAY; RITES TUESDAY
Clyde Warner, 222 1/2 South Andson street, died Sunday morning at 9:50 o'clock at the McGuire Nursing home. He had been a patient at the nursing home for two weeks and had been ill the last two years.
Born Aug. 14, 1882 in Tipton county, he was the son of Eli and Sarepta Warner. He was married to Edith Bess.
Six Children were born five of whom are living. Mrs. Warner died Nov. 8, 1949.
Mr. Warner was a former tin mill and Stckely employe.
He was a member of the East Main Street Christian church and the Modern Woodmen
of America. He had lived in Elwood for more that 45 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Blanch Helm of Hobbs; four sons, Harvey, route 1 Summitville, Charles F. of Clearwater, Fla., and Lester E. and Joe of Elwood; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Major and Mrs. Harry Peters of Elwood; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Robert L. Jackley funeral home where friends may call. Funeral rites will be Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Jackleys with Rev. J.E. McCoy, officiating. Burial will be made in the Elwood City cemetery.
