Maria Morley's husband may have been James. A 1900 Census which shows Maria living alone with her husband's sister, Susan Gardner (Gardener on Census). The information there said she had Immigrated from England with Susan in 1873, (she would have been in her 40's)and also that she had 12 children, 7 of whom were living at time of the Census.

OBITUARY:
From the Daily Reflector, Wednesday Evening, December 21, 1904, Page 3:
"Death of Mrs. Morley - After a lingering illness Mrs. Maria Morley died at 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. She was born in Suffolk, England, in 1826; came to America in 1873, stopping in Illinois a few months then coming to Abilene. Her husband died here 12 years ago. She was a devout Christian woman, a member of the Lutheran church and had the love and friendship of a wide acquaintance. All will mourn her decease.Five daughters and two sons survive her. They are: J.P. Morley, Mrs. Eliza Peck, Mrs. George Rolloson, of this county; Mrs. Maud Garvin, Colorado; Mrs. Snook and Mrs. Moore of Oregon; H. P. Morley of Osawatomie.Funeral services will be held at the Lutheran church Friday at 2:30, Rev. F. Bergstresser officiating. Burial in Abilene Cemetery."
