Kendrick, Ronald R. Took his smile, the twinkle in his eye and boundless humor to the Lord on June 16, 2010.

Ron was born in Vivian, Louisiana May 19, 1945. Before he retired, he was a Project Manager for the largest Auto Emissions Testing Company in the world. He traveled for over 30 years here and abroad. There was hardly a city in the US he did not know. His passions were cooking, fishing and family.

He is survived by his loving sisters Janet (Bill) Williams, Marie (JB) Barfoot, brothers Jimmy Dan Kendrick, Donnie (Pauline) Kendrick, his children Tommy Kendrick, Althea (Jarred) Blakeley, grandson, Adarius , stepdaughter, Johnna (Frank) Salazar and all of his nieces and nephews including Robert Wall and Richard Williams who brought him great friendship and pleasure. His best friend and wife Lorraine Kendrick loved him without judgment, hesitation or boundaries and will miss him greatly.

Services will be held in Vivian, Louisiana, Saturday June 19, 2010. A special thank you to Dr. Melanie Christina, Physician Director of Faith Presbyterian Hospice , whom Ron loved and trusted , his church family at Cornerstone Christian church who took him in, in a time of need and readied him for his next life and friends Bret Bates and Simon Gutierrez who knew what a precious person he was. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Christian Church for their missionary work here and abroad at 2700 Christian Parkway-Suite100, Dallas, Texas 75234.
