At the Saluda Nursing Center. He was a 35-year employee of the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources where he was a Game Warden. He was a lifelong member of the Faith Lutheran Church, the Lion's Club, and a family baseball team of brothers called "The Boozer Brothers."

Husband 74 years of Maude Smith Boozer.

He is also survived by daughters, Patsy B. Pugh & Martha B. Shuping; brothers, Leland "Dink" Boozer & Felder "Duck" Boozer, and sister, Sara Ester Hall; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.

Interment followed funeral services conducted at Faith Luther Church on Monday, March 8, 2010; rev. Mitchell Evans presided. Pallbearers were Bucky, Jackie, Johnny, Mickey, & Wayne Boozer, and Tim Hall.
