Leland Rhodes "Dank" Boozer BATESBURG Leland Rhodes "Dank" Boozer, 91, passed away Friday, June 15, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, June 17, at Faith Lutheran Church with burial in Ridge Crest Memorial Park with Rev. Mitchell Evans officiating. Visitation will be held after the service at Faith Lutheran Church. Mr. Boozer was born in Batesburg, SC, son of the late Max and Leila Smith Boozer. He was married to the late Frances Margaret Smith Boozer. He was a carpenter. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Surviving are his sons, Leland Mack "Bucky" Boozer of Batesburg; Joe Allen Boozer of Aiken; Steve Boozer of Batesburg; daughters, Nancy Lynn Bevans of Aiken; Margaret Manchester of Florida; Gayle Boozer of Batesburg; brother, Felder "Duck" Boozer; sister, Sarah Esther Hall; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He is predeceased by other brothers and sisters. Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, c/o Renovation Fund, 113 N. Oak Street, Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29006. Milton Shealy Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
