Kelso native Laverne Ann (Howard) Beagle, 85, died Jan 30, 1994 in a nursing home in Albany, Ore.
She was born April 24, 1908 in Kelso to Arthur and Mable (Hoover) Howard and lived in Kelso all her life until her recent move to Albany.
She was a member of Central Christian Church and the Christian Women's Fellowship at the church.
A homemaker, Mrs. Beagle dressed dolls and did needlework and crocheting for bazaars. She also loved to work in her garden and tended children in the playroom at Triangle Bowl.
Survivors include two daughters. Aronda Beagle and DeMarris Tronson, both of Albany, Ore.; two sisters, Lillian Carpenter of Beaverton, Ore., and Norma Houghton of Portland; a brother, Marion Howard of Tenino, Wash.; two grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
