WILLIAM (BILL) C. KRAUSE, JR. age 85 of Port Charlotte; passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2010.


Bill served in the United States Army Infantry during World War II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge, Normandy. Bill was injured in St Lo France on July 30, 1944 and was in the Army Hospital for almost two years recovering from his wounds. He later graduated from Detroit College of Applied Science. He perfected his trade as a draftsman.


Bill is survived by his adoring wife of 61 years Hazel "Jo" Krause; his four loving children, . . . and five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew him, and his family was the most important thing in his life.
