He was instrumental in founding St.Louis Furniture Exchange, and Haydn Orchestra. He was a family man whose wife filled their home with music. The family was musical A son and a daughter Maymie Francis Rubelmann Walden played piano. Andre Marston Rubelmann his son was a concert pianst. George Andrew taught his grandaughter to play the violin. She became an accomplished cellist playing for many orchestras.
