Hughes Durbin, a highly respected citizen, died at his home in WInd Ridge, Sunday morning, November 6, aged 78 years, of a complication of diseases. Mr. Durbin was a son of Thomas and Keziah Pettit Durbin, deceased, and had spent his entire life in Richhill township. He had followed the carpenter trade. He was united in marriage with Miss Jane McGlumphy, whose death occurred April 13, 1924. Four children survive, Thomas Durbin, Alliance, Ohio; John Durbin, Wind Ridge; Mrs. Nellie Monroe, Pittsburgh, and Ralph Durbin, Johnstown. Two brothers and three sisters also survive, Joseph and Silas Durbin and Mrs. Jennie Donley, of Washington; Mrs. John McKerrihan and Mrs. Mary Bell Durbin, Wind Ridge.
