Garnet Keeling, 80, of Ashland died Friday, Feb. 6, 1998, at her home in Ashland. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, at Robinson Funeral Home in Ashland with the Rev. Laurel VanHorn officiating. Burial will be in Dry Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at the funeral home. Mrs. Keeling was born May 7, 1917, in Ewing to Milton and Anna Gruber Hutchinson. She married Hollie Keeling on May 7, 1972, and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker all her life. Survivors include two stepdaughters, Josie Griggs of Columbia and Frances Smith of Ashland, and several stepgrandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and cousins. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Hutchinson. Memorials can be made to Regional Home Health, 1000 W. Nifong Blvd.
