He later married Millie Arnett on August 5, 1911 and they were the parents of: Clarence E., 4/11/1912-10/26/1972; Chester W., 5/24/1914-4/5/1926; Ollie, 9/1915; Elijah, 8/1917; Robert, 3/1919; Opal K., 2/26/1920-11/4/1979; Lloyd, Barney and Ruby.

William Francis, who was taken to the Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis a couple of weeks ago suffering with Brights Disease, died there yesterday about noon. His family had been notified that there was nothing that could be done for him and that he would be just as well off at home. They sent the Dixon ambulance after him, but he had passed away before they got there.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Friday) at 2:00 p.m. at the Free Will Baptist Church at Captain's Creek, followed by interment in the King Cemetery there. Dixon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Millie Arnett Francis and eleven children: seven boys Charles, Clarence Elijah, Henry and Lloyd, all living in or near Fredericktown, and Robert and Barney, who are in the armed forces overseas; four daughters, Mrs. Harry Pulliam, Mrs. Opal Jordan, Mrs. Ollie Graham and Miss Ruby Francis, all of this county.
Mr. Francis was born 63 years ago on a farm near the head of Cedar Creek where he lived most of his life. About two years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Francis moved to a house on Wood Ave., where they have lived since.
