Arssum Letz, 87, 1501 9th St. S., employee of the Anaconda Copper Co., died Tuesday at a local nursing home. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
He was born in Crimea, Russia, in 1891, and came to the U.S. 65 years ago. He married Elizabeth Balencouh Nov. 11, 1911.
Survivors include daughters, Lenna Whitmore and Olga Bowlin, both of Great Falls; brothers, Nick of Conrad; Mike, Tucson, Ariz.; Bill of Lloyd; Maurice of McKinleyville, Calif.; and George of Los Angeles; and sisters, Edna Martin, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Mary Molonario, Spokane; Olga Obrodobic, Black Eagle; Rose Dolack, McKinleyville; Lydia Markson, Los Angeles; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
