GRESHAM, Ore. - Former Black Eagle resident Fransinia Rose (Letz) Dolack, 98, a published author who enjoyed painting, sewing and making rag dolls, and who had worked as a seamstress for costume designer Edith Head at California movie studios, died of natural causes Sunday in Gresham, Ore.
At her request, no services are planned. Gresham Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include a daughter; a son; two stepsons; 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husbands Arthur Landgren in 1951 and Frank Dolack in 2004.
