OBITUARY-Albert L. Landry

Albert L. Landry, son of Lewis and Julie (Peltier) was born on August 21, 1889 near Clyde, Kansas. After a few hours illness he passed away at the St. Joseph hospital, Concordia, Kansas on May 28, 1949 at the age of 59 years, 9 months and 7 days. On November 30, 1911 he was united in marriage to Eva Cyr (daughter of John Baptiste Cyr and Melvina Regnier). To this union were born three sons: John Wendell of Miami, Fla., Rex and Maurice of the home. Left to cherish his memory of this loving husband are his wife, Mrs. Eva Landry, sons, John W. and wife Alice, Rex and Maurice, also Mrs. John Cyr. Surviving also are four sisters: Mrs. Charley LaFond of Clyde, Mrs. Edmond Ouellette of Cottonwood, Minn., Mrs. Alma Irvine of Faribault, Minn., and Mrs. Homer Guimond of Medford, Minn., beside a number of nieces, nephews and many neighbors and friends. Two brothers preceded him in death. He united with the Presbyterian Church in May, 1943. He devoted his life to promoting the pleasure and welfare of his loved ones and will be sadly missed by all. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church on May 31, at 2 o'clock with Rev. E. A. Coates in charge. Burial was in the Mt. Hope cemetery.
