Mrs. Edna L. Althouse (nee Hoover), of Homestead, Florida, formerly of 1231 East Cumberland Street, died Thursday morning at eleven o'clock in the John Smith Memorial Hospital, Homestead, Florida, after an illness of the past four months. She was fifty. A member of the Church of the Brethren, 4th and Locust Streets, Lebanon, she is survived by her husband, William Althouse, and seven children; Florence, wife of Zigmund Vituszynski, of Avon; Eugene, of Jonestown; Grace, wife of Clarence Daub; Charles; Ruth, wife of Clifford Ainsworth, all of Avon, and Betty and Maria, both at home. Also surviving is her father, Elmer Hoover, of Bunker Hill; eleven grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur, of Lebanon, and Charles of Avon; a sister, Florence, wife of Charles Putt, of Lebanon, and two step-sisters: Mrs. Annie Ruhl, of Lebanon Route 2, and Mrs. Margaret Keppley, of Lebanon.
