Mrs. Etta Adelaide Scott died at Fort Bragg October 14, 1932. Born in Henry County, Missouri, July 26, 1859, she was 73 years, 3 months and 19 days old. She was the daughter of the late Carey T. and Adeline (Abbott) Johnson of Pennsylvania and New Hampshire respectively and came to California with them about 1877. On May 21, 1884 she married George Henry Scott at Caspar and shortly thereafter moved to Cleone with him. They had four children, three still living: Dr. Saxon B. Scott and Ben C. Scott of San Mateo, and Mrs. Adelaide Ball of Vallejo. A brother, George A. Johnson of Ukiah, also survived. The funeral was October 16th led by Rev. J. Lewis Kent. Interment was at Rose Memorial in Fort Bragg.
