He was the husband of the late Annie (Bartlett) Snow. Born in Marblehead he was the son of the late Horace and Fanny (Goldsmith) [sic] Snow. He was a lifelong resident of the town.
He was the manager of the Marblehead Electric Department for 39 years, retiring in 1946. He was a member of Philanthropic Lodge AF and AM of Marblehead, the Scottish Rite Body of Salem. He was a 32d degree Mason, a member of the Knights of Pythias and the oldest member of the Atlantic Lodge IOOF and a member of the Order of Redmen. He was also a member of St. Stephen's Methodist Church.
He is survived by 3 sons, Frank B. of Marblehead, Howard B. of Tuscon, Ariz. and Edward P. Snow of Marblehead; a daughter, Mrs. George (G. Louise) Hitchins of Marblehead; 4 sisters, Mrs. Fannie Haines, Mrs. Sadie Townsend, Mrs. Carrie Hastings, Mrs. Amy Christensen, all of Marblehead and a brother, Horace Snow of Marblehead. Also 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces.
Funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Eustis Funeral Home.
