HENRY LINGENFELTER IS DEAD

Left This County About Thirty Years Ago And Died in Boise, Idaho.

Henry Linkenfelter, who left this county about thirty years ago and has since lived in Wyoming and Idaho, died May 20 at a hospital in Boise, Idaho. He was 84 years old and had been in a hospital since May 9.

The funeral services were at 10 o'clock Monday morning at St. Mary's Church in Boise, and burial was in the church cemetery.

Four children survives, Oscar Lingenfelter of near Edina, and Nettie, Mrs. W. F. Rekus, of near Baring, and LeRoy Lingenfelter, Kirksville, and Mary, Mrs. James Davenport, of Meridian, Idaho, with whom he had lived since his wife died July 27, 1941. Two sons are dead, Lester Lingenfelter, who died about twenty-five years ago, and Leon Lingenfelter, a twin brother of LeRoy, who died forty years ago. There are seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Lingenfelter also leaves a brother, Madison Lingenfelter, of Kansas City, and a sister, Mindy, Mrs. Lafe Cunningham, of Memphis, Mo.

The lifetime work of Mr. Lingenfelter was that of a farmer. He was born in Knox County Sept. 6, 1853, a son of Madison and Mary Lingenfelter of near Rutledge. He married Miss Jennie Morrison some time in the 70's.
